Arkansas Varsity Week 2 Football Rankings
Week one of Arkansas high school football is in the books, and the first set of rankings paints a picture that feels both familiar and fresh. Some of the state’s perennial powers have wasted no time reminding fans why they belong at the top, while other programs are quickly proving they’re ready to make noise in 2025.
From 7A down through 2A—and even in the rapidly growing 8-Man Division—the early season storylines are already beginning to take shape. Here’s where things stand heading into week two:

The statewide poll blends all classifications, and once again Bryant stands alone at the top. Bentonville, Greenwood, and Fayetteville aren’t far behind, while Rogers has planted its flag as a legitimate top-five team.

Bentonville (2-0) – With a dominant front, the Tigers look like Bryant’s toughest challenger.
