Brian Walker Leaves Rogers Heritage for Jenks Baseball Head Coach Role
Rogers Heritage head baseball coach Brian Walker is headed back to familiar territory. On Wednesday, Walker was named the new head coach at Jenks High School in Oklahoma, marking a homecoming of sorts for the former Arkansas Razorback and Tulsa Union graduate.
Walker, who played collegiately at the University of Arkansas before being drafted by the then-Anaheim Angels, spent four years in the Angels' minor league system, reaching as high as Triple-A. After his playing career, he transitioned into coaching, holding assistant roles at Arkansas and Wichita State before taking over the Heritage baseball program in 2019.
