Clarendon Head Football Coach Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges
A Clarendon High School football coach is facing serious criminal charges after being arrested in West Memphis over the weekend.
According to the Arkansas State Police, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance from the ASP Criminal Investigation Division on July 30, 2025, regarding allegations that 27-year-old Caleb Hunter Gannon had sexually assaulted a minor.
On Sunday, August 10, 2025, state troopers conducted a traffic stop in West Memphis, during which Gannon was taken into custody without incident.
Gannon appeared in court on Monday, August 11, 2025, where he was formally charged with Felony Rape and Engaging Children in Sexually Explicit Conduct for Use in a Visual or Print Medium. A judge set his bond at $3 million.
Gannon is currently being held at the Prairie County Detention Center.
The investigation is ongoing.
