Cross County’s Danny Beale Commits to Oklahoma State
One of the top prospects in the country is heading to the Big 12.
Danny Beale, a four-star defensive lineman from Cross County High School, has officially committed to Oklahoma State University, announcing his decision Wednesday via social media. Beale chose the Cowboys over several top-tier programs, including Arkansas, North Carolina, Ole Miss, and Missouri.
Ranked as the No. 16 defensive lineman in the nation for the Class of 2026 Beale is widely regarded as the one of the top-ranked players in the state of Arkansas.
Standing 6-foot-3 and weighing 300 pounds, Beale brings a powerful presence to the defensive front. His commitment marks a major recruiting win for head coach Mike Gundy and makes him the highest-ranked recruit in Oklahoma State’s 2026 class to date.
Beale’s decision followed a meticulous recruiting process. He released a top-eight list in November 2024, narrowed his choices through the spring, took multiple official visits, and ultimately landed on Oklahoma State as his future home.
With his recruitment now finalized, Beale can turn his full attention to leading Cross County through a promising 2025 season.
