Steve Hookfin Named Rogers Athletic Director
Rogers Public Schools has announced the promotion of Steve Hookfin to the position of site athletic director for Rogers High School, filling the role vacated by Ronnie Delk, who accepted a new position as athletic director at Bentonville High School.
Hookfin, currently in his fourth year as an assistant principal at Rogers, brings a strong background in athletics and leadership to the role. Prior to his time in administration, he served as the head football coach at Rogers Heritage for three seasons.
The district also announced that Brandon Johnson will take over Hookfin’s former position as assistant principal. Johnson is well known within the Rogers athletics community, having coached freshman volleyball for the Mounties in 2019 and later serving as an assistant coach for the Lady Mounties varsity team for four seasons. He most recently served as an assistant volleyball coach at Springdale Har-Ber.
