Weather Forces Schedule Change for Indian Classic; Updated Games Set for Friday and Saturday
After weather forced the cancellation of games earlier this week, Poyen baseball coach Keith Barrett released an updated schedule for the Indian Classic.
Barrett announced the revised slate and said organizers are hopeful weather conditions will allow the tournament to proceed as planned.
The event is now scheduled to begin Friday with two games. Magnet Cove will face Rison at 4:30 p.m., followed by Poyen taking on Hampton at 6:50 p.m.
Play will continue Saturday morning when Magnet Cove meets Conway St. Joseph at 10 a.m. Hampton will face Cutter Morning Star at 12:20 p.m., and the tournament will conclude with host Poyen playing Rison at 2:40 p.m.
Earlier games in the event were canceled due to weather conditions earlier in the week, prompting the schedule adjustment.

6:50 p.m. — Poyen vs. Hampton
Saturday
10 a.m. — Magnet Cove vs. Conway St. Joseph

2:40 p.m. — Poyen vs. Rison
